Tour Itinerary
Day 01: VESAKI DAY FESTIVAL TOUR TO TAXILA
On this Day
Participants will travel from Islamabad to Taxila to celebrate the Vesak Day Festival, which commemorates Lord Buddha's birth, enlightenment, and death. Travelers will depart from Islamabad and enjoy a gorgeous drive before arriving in Taxila and starting the day with a visit to the Taxila Museum, where they will be able to examine key exhibits highlighting the region's rich Buddhist past. The celebration will continue at the Dharmarajika Stupa with the Vesaki Day Festival's opening ceremony, which will include prayers and rituals designed to create a tranquil atmosphere in appreciation of Buddha's teachings. Participants can participate in cultural performances, meditation sessions, and interactive workshops to fully immerse themselves in the festival's spirit. After lunch, guests will continue to enjoy conversations, art exhibitions, and community activities. The day will culminate with a closing ceremony, giving everyone time to reflect on the day's lessons and experiences. Finally, the group will return to Islamabad, having spent the day celebrating culture and reflecting on spirituality.
