Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Islamabad

On this Day

Depart from your original location and arrive in Islamabad the next day, where you will be transferred to a hotel for a few hours of sleep. After an early breakfast, we return to the airport for our flight to Skardu, which often departs in the middle of the morning. Given excellent weather, this is possibly the most spectacular commercial flight in the world, with breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat, the world's ninth-tallest peak. The flight, however, will not operate in bad weather, and you should be prepared to wait in Islamabad if the flight is canceled.

Day 02: Drive from Islamabad to Chilas

On this Day

In the event of a flight cancellation (13-14 hours), travel by coach to Chilas (480 km) along the Karakoram Highway. Or Drive to Chilas via the Babusar Pass (4173 metres). Babusar Pass is a high mountain pass with an elevation of 4.173 meters (13,691 feet) above sea level. The pass is the highest point in the Kaghan Valley in Pakistan. The ThakNala Pass connects the Kaghan Valley to Chilas on the Karakoram Highway. It's one of the most famous hairpin roads in the world.

Day 03: Drive from Chilas to Skardu

Complete the road journey (10-11 hours) to Skardu (275 kilometers). En way, there is a good view of Nanga Parbat (8125m) near the Indus River junction, as well as the Indus River's rapids and falls.

Day 04: Free Day in Skardu

On this Day

At Skardu, a whole day is dedicated to official formalities and final expedition preparations.

Day 05: Drive from Skardu to Kanday

On this Day

Driving from Skardu to Kanday village (2900m), we continue our adventure by comfy Jeeps and Toyotas to the beautiful Indus and Shyok rivers. During our jeep ride, we passed through several villages, each with its own culture but speaking the same languages. En route, we pass through a variety of Nallahs supplied by meltwater, including spring water at some points.

Day 06: Trek from Kanday to Khotid

On this Day

Today's adventure begins in Bondit Valley. For the first hour, we walk across a long Channel, a water channel used for agriculture during the summer. Afterward, we cross Daltit, where an old hut can be seen under a large rock. It was built by native people over 30 years ago to be used for animals, but due to insignificant gross, they shifted to Khotid. En route, we cross a walking bridge near the Khotid Valley, and before touching and cleaning dust in spring water. There was an antic tree where people would go up and down to hang little lockets for future memorials. The hike is both difficult and simple, including an overnight stay in a tent.

Day 07: Trek to Bondit Base Camp

On this Day

After breakfast, we continued our final trip to base camp, the first point was called Lawab, which means completely steep, and it took us about 45 minutes to rise. Once we reach the summit, we can see Bondit Peak and the area where we are standing, Gamba Bondit, which is slightly longer and more impressive with spring water coming from a short distance away. While trekking, we bridge the melting river, which is best crossed before dusk, and then we arrive at a local inhabitant hut where people live with their milking animals during the summer, before eventually arriving at the base camp where we set up our camp.

Day 26: Trek back to Kanday Village

On this Day

Today, instead of staying at Gamba Bondit, we travel directly to Kanday hamlet, with our low-altitude porter carrying all of our expedition supplies. After dinner, we called them to leave a modest tip and to say thank you and goodbye.

Day 27: Drive from Kanday to Skardu

On this Day

We arrive at Skardu city after four to five hours of driving, where we have a final farewell meal and repack for your departure to your home country.

Day 28: Fly to Islamabad

On this Day

GPS Data Altitude: 538 m On this day the participants will take a flight from the airport in Skardu to Islamabad airport. You will have a good time to relax at the hotel in Islamabad. The domestic flights sometimes get canceled due to weather conditions. In case of flight cancellation, you will drive to Chilas overnight. It takes eight to ten hours by vehicle.

Day 29: Contingency day for flight cancellation

On this Day

This day is allocated for any potential delays in case the domestic flight does not operate the previous day. Our guests will depart early morning from Chilas to Islamabad which can take up to ten hours. However, it will be a free day in case the participants make it to Islamabad on the domestic flight. This time can be utilized for sightseeing in Islamabad.

Day 30: Fly to home country

On this Day

Meals included: Breakfast Our staff will transfer all our guests to the airport on their respective departure timings. The checkout time of all our partner hotels is 12pm.
