Motorbike Tour to Hunza, Nagar, Skardu and Astore – 10 Days

Your flights will normally arrive in Islamabad in the afternoon. Our guide(s) will receive you from the airport. Soon the participants will be transferred to hotels. This day the participants can relax and recover from the journey.

Our participants will be transferred to the Islamabad International Airport. They will fly to Gilgit Airport (50 mins). Our guide will receive the guests and allot them their desired bikes. Riders will start their journey from Gilgit towards Hunza. They will ride towards the beautiful valley of Hunza in the Karakoram range. We will follow the Indus river on the Karakoram highway until we are met by the Hunza river. Hunza valley is unique in terms of the natural environment, culture, food, etc. Crossing few bridges, passing through small villages of the Brusho and Shinaki people, we will reach the capital of Hunza, Karimabad in the afternoon. After reaching Hunza our guests will check in at the hotel and rest for a while, have lunch and regain their energy to explore Hunza. They will start to visit different  destinations  which includes visit to the Baltit fort (700 years old) and Altit Fort (900 Years Old). Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee at the royal gardens of Altit Fort. A short ride to highest view point (Duikar) in Hunza-Nagar late in the afternoon to witness sunsets on white peaks.

Today our guests will ride to the highest road boarder in the world i.e Pak-China Border. It is also known as Khunjerap Pass and has an elevation of 4,693 m. To reach the border, we will pass through Ganish Bridge & ancient rock carvings. We will be riding along the famous Attabad Lake and Newly constructed Pak-China friendship tunnels. Participants will cross through Wildlife Conservation Area in Khyber before entering Khunjerab National Park in Deh. We will each Pak-China border and get stunned by the natural environment and may even witness snow in summers on a lucky day. Khunjerab National Park is wildlife habitats for ibex, snow leopards, marmots etc. Guests might get a chance to meet Chinese people (soldiers/border police/Chinese tourists from the other side). Participants will eat packed/picnic lunch on Pak-China Border (4733m). Guest will get shopping time on return in Sost (Immigration/Customs point) for Chinese goods (electronics, watches etc). We will return to Hunza for stay.

Riders will ride back to Hunza from Passu. They will visit Nagar district to enjoy a tour of massive Hoper Glacier. In the afternoon they will have free time to either relax or to shop in Karimabad market. Our participants can also visit different restaurants to enjoy local cuisines. Participants will spend their night in Karimabad.

This will be an exciting day for our participants as we will move towards the beautiful valley of Astore. Astore is one of the districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and it is also one of the main attraction points of Gilgit-Baltistan. Our participants will start their journey on Astore road. It will take around 5-6 hours to reach Rama, Astore. Here they will visit Rama Lake and spend their night in Rama valley of Astore.

This will be the day when riders will begin their journey towards Skardu. Passing through Deosai National Park, they will reach Skardu within 7-8 hours. Deosai National Park is situated at an elevation of 4,114m and Deosai plains are considered to be the second highest plateaus on this planet. Riders will depart towards the plains. They will have short stops at Sheoshar Lake, Kala Pani & Bara Pani, Sadpara Lake and enjoy this breathtaking view. Night stay will be in Skardu.

Today participants will ride to Shangrila Resort and will visit lower and upper Kachura Lakes. After visiting these lakes, they will move towards Shigar Fort while riding through Shigar Cold Desert. Night stay will be in Skardu.

On this day the participants will take a flight from the Skardu airport to Islamabad airport. You will have a good time to relax at the hotel in Islamabad. The domestic flights sometimes get cancelled due to weather conditions. In case of flight cancellation, you will be travelling back to Islamabad in a Hiace/Van and will drive via Babusar Pass or Karakoram Highway(depending on weather and other variables).

This day is allocated for any potential delays in case the domestic flight does not operate the previous day. Our guests will depart early morning from Besham/Naran to Islamabad which can take up to eight or nine hours. However, it will be a free day in case the participants make it to Islamabad on the domestic flight. This time can be utilized for sightseeing in Islamabad.

Our staff will transfer all our guests to the airport on their respective departure timings. The checkout time of all our partner hotels is 12pm.
