Day 01: Arrive at Islamabad International Airport, Islamabad

Arrival & Pickup Details

📍 GPS Data Altitude: 540m 🛬 Arrival & Airport Transfer Upon landing at Islamabad International Airport, our guide(s) will be waiting to receive you. They will be easily identifiable, holding orange placards with our company’s logo and your name. 🚖 Hotel Transfer & Relaxation Once greeted, you will be transferred to our partner hotel, where you can rest and recover from your long journey. 🔹 Pickup Information:

  • You must provide us with your inbound and outbound flight details at least 5 days before your arrival in Pakistan.
  • International flights usually arrive at midnight or in the afternoon.
  • Our team will meet you at the international arrivals gate, unless you are on a connecting flight from another city in Pakistan.
  • If you do not require airport transfer, kindly inform us in advance.

🍽 Briefing & Welcome Dinner

  • Morning Arrivals (9 AM – 12 PM): After lunch and some rest at the hotel, our guide will pick you up at 6 PM for a briefing session and payment settlement at our office, followed by a welcome dinner.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive later in the evening, the remaining payments will be managed the next day.
Day 02: Drive to Chilas

On this day, we will travel along the motorway, passing through the towns of Wah, Haripur, and Abbotabad. Upon reaching Mansehra, we will continue on the Naran-Gilgit Road, journeying through the beautiful valleys of Balakot, Naran, and Jalkhad. We will then cross Babusar Pass, entering the region of Gilgit-Baltistan. After descending from the pass, we will arrive in Chillas and proceed along the Karakoram Highway. Once in Chillas, we will check in to the hotel and enjoy a restful night.

Day 03: Drive to Astore

On this day, we will drive towards Astore, passing the Raikot Bridge and continuing along the Karakoram Highway. As we progress, we will be treated to the breathtaking view of Nanga Parbat, towering over the surrounding mountains with unmatched grandeur. We will also witness the meeting point of three major mountain ranges: the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindukush. From Jaglot, we will take a right turn toward the bridge that connects the Gilgit and Astore regions, continuing our journey towards Astore. We will spend the night in Astore.

Day 04: Trek to Tarashing

On this day, we will continue our journey along the off-road track in Jeeps, which will take approximately 3 to 4 hours to reach our first campsite in Tarashing, located in the Rupal Valley. The valley is surrounded by pine trees, and its lush green meadows create a magical atmosphere. We will set up camp here for the night. GPS Data: Altitude: 2,900 m Average trek time: 3 to 5 hours.

Day 05: Trek to Herligkoffer Base Camp

On this day, we will continue our trek from Tarashing to Herligkoffer Base Camp at an altitude of 3,600 m. Along the way, we will walk through lush green fields and picturesque meadows, crossing the snout of the Tarashing Glacier. We will take breaks as needed and proceed with our trek toward the base camp. Upon arrival, we will set up camp near Bazhin Glacier, where we will enjoy breathtaking views of Raikot Peak and the Chongra Peaks of the Nanga Parbat Massif. GPS Data: Altitude: 3,600 m Average trek time: 3 to 5 hours.

Day 06: Trek to Latobah

On this Day

GPS Data Altitude: 3,650 m On this day we continue our trek towards the well-known Latobah Campsite while crossing the Bazhin Glacier. The campsite is right under the largest wall which is the Rupal Face of the Killer Mountain – Nanga Parbat. The wall of Rupal rises 5000m to summit and is a rare sight to experience. Average trek time – 5 – 7 hours.

Day 07: Trek to Shaigiri

On this Day

GPS Data Altitude: 3,700 m This day we will have a little longer trek than usual. On this day we will cross the snout of The Shaigiri Glacier. We will experience the amazing and enchanting view of the Rupal Face on this day. Average trek time – 3 – 5 hours.

Day 08: Trek to Mazeno Base Camp

On this Day

GPS Data Altitude: 4,000 m Here we have outstanding views of Mazeno peaks. On this day we will pass through different mountain terrain. We will cross streams, forest and pastures to enter the high-altitude meadows of Mazeno. We will have great sighting of peaks on this day. Average trek time : 3 – 5 hours.

Day 09: Trek to Mazeno High Camp

On this Day

GPS Data Altitude: 4,700 m On this day we will start our trek towards the Mazeno High Camp. Today we will have steep hikes up the hilly areas and we will aim to reach Mazeno Glacier on the end of our trek. This day will be tiring as compared to rest trekking days however this camp will be rewarding in many ways. Average trek time – 5 – 8 hours.

Day 10: Trek to Laibh Meadows

On this day, we will face a challenging trek as we ascend the Mazeno Pass, which stands at 5,399 m. After reaching the summit, we will begin our descent toward the Laibh Meadows. The descent will be more difficult than the ascent due to the steep slopes. Our experienced staff will offer valuable support, and ropes will be set up to ensure a smoother and safer descent. GPS Data: Altitude: 4,200 m Average trek time: 8 to 10 hours.

Day 11: Trek to Zangot

On this day, we will reach the first signs of civilization after several days in the wilderness. We will walk through expansive pastures, marking a shift in the landscape. The trek will also involve descending some steep terrain, though it will be less challenging than the Mazeno Pass. GPS Data: Altitude: 2,700 m Average trek time: 6 to 8 hours.

Day 12: Rest at Zangot

On this day, we will take a well-deserved rest in Zangot and have the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas. GPS Data: Altitude: 2,700 m

Day 13: Trek to Kutagali

On this day, we will begin our trek towards Kutagali, a summer settlement for shepherds, and follow the trail traditionally used by them. GPS Data: Altitude: 3,000 m Average trek time: 5 to 7 hours.

Day 14: Trek to Shaichi
 
On this day, we will cross the Karu Sagar Pass at 4,900 m. This pass is relatively easier and less technical compared to the previous passes on our trek. Upon reaching Shaichi, we will be treated to magnificent views of the Diamir Face of Nanga Parbat, and as we continue, the views will only get more spectacular. GPS Data: Altitude: 2,900 m Average trek time: 5 to 7 hours.
Day 15: Trek to Gutum Sagar

On this day, we will trek through lush pine forests and expansive highland pastures. Along the way, we will cross streams at various points. GPS Data: Altitude: 3,500 m Average trek time: 6 to 8 hours.

Day 16: Trek to Jilipur High Camp

On this day, we will trek towards the Jilipur High Camp, where we will be treated to mesmerizing views of the Jilipur Peaks. This day offers a spectacular opportunity to witness the grandeur of the Himalayas. GPS Data: Altitude: 4,300 m Average trek time: 6 to 8 hours.

Day 17: Trek to Beyal Camp

On this day, we will aim to reach Beyal Camp by crossing the Khutsu Pass at 4,840 m. While the pass is not very difficult, we must remain cautious of any potential challenges. We will ascend steep terrain to cross the pass, then descend towards Beyal Camp. Our camp will be set up along the Raikot Glacier for the night. GPS Data: Altitude: 3,400 m Average trek time: 7 to 9 hours.

Day 18: Fairy Meadows
 
On this day, we will complete the Nanga Parbat Base Camp Circuit and immerse ourselves in the majestic glory of this magnificent peak. The stunning views and enchanting meadows will leave a lasting impression, creating a magical experience that will make you wish to never leave. GPS Data: Altitude: 3,200 m Average trek time: 2 to 3 hours.
Day 19: Back to Chilas
On this day, we will trek down to Tatu Village and then continue our journey to Raikot Bridge by Jeep. The Jeep ride will add an adventurous element to the day, as you will witness the breathtaking view of a deep gorge along the way. Upon reaching Raikot Bridge, we will proceed towards Chillas Town and spend the night there.

 

 
Day 20: Drive to Islamabad via Babusar Pass

On this day, we will drive from Chillas to Islamabad. We will depart early and, weather permitting, travel via Babusar Pass. If the conditions do not allow, we will take the alternate route through Besham. Upon arrival in Islamabad, we will check in and stay the night.

Day 21: Sightseeing in Islamabad
On this day, we have a contingency day built in to account for any delays or unexpected events. However, if we are on schedule, we will take the opportunity to explore Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Afterward, we can enjoy some rest and a comfortable night's sleep before our flight out.

On this day, breakfast will be served. One of our staff members will transfer all guests to the airport for departure.
