Ayubia and Nathia Gali Trip is another sightseeing option if you are in Islamabad for multiple days and if you have interest in nature and landscapes. Named in honor of Pakistan’s second President, Field Marshal Ayub Khan, Ayubia is a collection of four hill stations—Khanspur, Ghora Dhaka, Khairagali, and Changla Gali. These areas were developed and connected under Ayub Khan’s initiative to promote tourism and offer a recreational haven to the public. The chairlift at Ayubia and the chairlift at Changla Gali are examples of his vision to enhance the tourist experience.

Tour Itinerary
DAY 01: DAY TOUR OF NATHIA GALI AYUBIA
Duration: Approximately 10 hours
Morning:
8:00 AM – Depart from Islamabad
- Begin your day by departing from Islamabad in the morning. Nathia Gali is located around 80 kilometers (50 miles) away, and the drive should take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours by car.
10:30 AM – Arrival at Nathia Gali
- Arrive at the charming hill station of Nathia Gali. Take a leisurely stroll along the walking paths, lined with lush greenery and beautiful landscapes.
11:00 AM – Mukshpuri Trek
- Embark on a trek to Mukshpuri, one of the nearby peaks offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The trek takes around 2-3 hours round trip, depending on your pace. Enjoy the natural beauty and serenity of the area.
Lunch:
1:30 PM – Picnic Lunch
- Enjoy a packed lunch or a picnic amidst the scenic surroundings of Nathia Gali. Savor your meal while taking in the fresh mountain air.
Afternoon:
2:30 PM – Depart for Ayubia
- Leave Nathia Gali and proceed towards Ayubia, which is located approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) away. The drive should take around 30 minutes.
3:00 PM – Ayubia National Park
- Arrive at Ayubia National Park, a pristine natural area with diverse flora and fauna. Explore the walking trails, enjoy the serene atmosphere, and keep an eye out for local wildlife.
Late Afternoon:
4:30 PM – Chair Lift at Ayubia
- Experience the chair lift at Ayubia, which takes you over the treetops and offers breathtaking views of the valleys below.
Evening:
6:00 PM – Return to Islamabad
- Depart from Ayubia and start your journey back to Islamabad. Reflect on the day’s experiences amidst the tranquility of the hill stations.
8:00 PM – Islamabad
