Humbrok Trek

GPS Data Altitude: 540 m Our guide(s) will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. This day is meant for participants to relax and recover from the journey. Pickup Information Spotting our guide is easy – they’ll be holding orange placards with our company’s logo and your name. You’ll need to arrive at Islamabad International Airport in Islamabad. International flights typically arrive either at midnight or in the afternoon. Please provide your inbound and outbound flight details at least five days before your arrival in Pakistan. Our guide or staff member will meet you at the international arrivals gate, unless you're taking a connecting flight from another city in Pakistan. Then, you'll be transferred to our partner hotel. If you do not require airport transfer, kindly inform us ahead of time. After lunch and some rest (preferably if you arrive between 9 am and 12 pm), our guide or representative will pick up all guests around 6 pm for a briefing and to handle any remaining payments at our office, followed by dinner. For late arrivals, we will complete the briefing and payments in Skardu.

On This Day: Arrival in Skardu

• In the morning, participants will board a spectacular flight from Islamabad airport to Skardu airport. If weather conditions permit, Nanga Parbat will be visible during the flight.
• Upon arrival in Skardu, the day is free for rest, relaxation, or personal exploration.

On This Day: Sightseeing in Skardu

• GPS Data: Altitude: 2,498 m
• After breakfast, participants will take a scenic walk to Kharpocho Fort, located on a mountain offering splendid views of the Indus and Skardu towns.
• There will also be an option to tour Sadpara Lake.
• Afterward, participants will have free time to shop in Skardu Bazaar.
• During the sightseeing, our staff will handle any additional government documentation required in Skardu. This process can sometimes take up to two days. We have built-in contingency days towards the end of the trek to account for any potential delays.

On This Day: Journey to Hushe

• Today, we embark on a picturesque jeep ride through the winding roads of the Indus and Shyok valleys.
• As we travel northward, the landscape shifts dramatically, taking us through the rugged beauty of the Karakoram Mountains.
• Our journey culminates in the tiny town of Hushe, the roadhead, where our adventure begins amidst the towering peaks and pristine valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

On This Day: Trek from Hushe to Humbrok

• Today, we embark on a 4 to 5-hour trek from Hushe to Humbrok, traversing the harsh terrain of the Karakoram Mountains.
• The journey is both challenging and rewarding, with the spectacular majesty of the peaks surrounding us every step of the way.
• Upon reaching Humbrok, we set up camp under the starlit sky for an unforgettable overnight experience.
• Enjoy a delicious dinner in the serene surroundings, as the tranquility of nature offers a perfect backdrop to make lasting memories amidst stunning scenery.

On This Day: Trek from Hunbroq to the K2 Viewpoint

• Begin the trek from Hunbroq to the K2 Viewpoint, which takes about a full day to complete.
• The route is challenging, with difficult slopes that reward us with breathtaking views of the Karakoram Range.
• As we journey towards the viewpoint, the magnificent landscape of towering peaks and vast glaciers will captivate every step of the way.
• Upon reaching the K2 Viewpoint, set up camp for the night, where you’ll be surrounded by majestic peaks and the serene beauty of the alpine scenery.

On This Day: Return to Humbrok

• Retrace your journey back to Humbrok, descending from the K2 Viewpoint across the stunning Karakoram Mountains.
• As you walk down, reflect on the memories made during this epic expedition, taking in the views of towering peaks and tranquil valleys for one last time.
• The return marks the finish of a rewarding wilderness excursion, filled with awe-inspiring scenery and a sense of accomplishment.

On This Day: Final Trek to Hushe Valley

• Return to the Hushe Valley, completing the trek through the stunning Karakoram Mountains.
• Reflect on the unforgettable experiences along the way as you journey from Humbroq.
• Conclude your trek immersed in nature's beauty, as the majestic surroundings offer a serene ending to this remarkable adventure.

On This Day: Journey to Skardu

• Journey from Hushe to Skardu, taking in the breathtaking scenery of Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Arrive in Skardu by evening and check into a comfortable hotel.
• After a long day of travel, enjoy a delicious meal and unwind, resting up after the day's journey.

On This Day: Return to Islamabad

• Flight from Skardu to Islamabad: The participants will take a flight from Skardu to Islamabad.
• Upon arrival, you'll have time to relax at the hotel in Islamabad and unwind after your journey.

Important Note: In case of flight cancellation due to weather conditions, we will drive to Chilas overnight. The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours.

On This Day: Contingency or Sightseeing in Islamabad

• For flight delays: In case the domestic flight from Skardu to Islamabad was canceled the previous day, participants will depart early morning from Chilas to Islamabad. The drive will take up to 10 hours.

• For flight arrival: If the flight operates as scheduled and participants arrive in Islamabad, this day will be free for sightseeing. Guests can explore the modern capital city, visiting landmarks and enjoying the local culture.

• After breakfast, our staff will transfer all guests to the airport according to their respective departure timings.

• Hotel checkout time is at 12:00 pm.
