DAY 01: EXPLORE PESHAWAR

Beyond its busy bazaars, Peshawar boasts a plethora of historical and cultural sites. The Bala Hisar fort, built by Emperor Babar in the 16th century, is a testimony to Mughal construction. The Mahabat Khan mosque, which resembles Lahore's Badshahi mosque, has magnificent design and magnificence. Chowk Yadgar, Peshawar's famous square, acts as a venue for political debate and gatherings. A trip to Peshawar is incomplete without visiting the Peshawar Museum, which has a unique collection of Gandhara cultural relics. Walking through Qissa Khawani Bazaar, which was once fascinating to storytellers, today captivates with dentistry facilities and vivid displays of teeth. Sethi Streets in the walled city include the Sethi House as well as six other architectural jewels that merge Gandhara and Central Asian elements. The museum explores the life of Buddha and the emergence and fall of Buddhism in Pakistan. After passing by Islamia College, a prominent school that has produced regional leaders, we complete our day with a BBQ meal with Afghan Tikkas and other Afghan delicacies that highlight Peshawar's ethnic variety.

DAY 02: VISIT KHYBER PASS

You will visit the renowned Khyber Pass, a road with a rich history dating back centuries. As we drive down this historic route, we will stop at numerous forts and stupas dotting the landscape, each with its own narrative to tell. The vestiges of old civilizations and the ruins of historical monuments will transport us back in time, revealing the region's rich legacy. We will be able to tour these monuments, marvel at their architectural grandeur, and take in the surrounding natural splendor. Our skilled guides will deliver enlightening commentary, recounting the conquests, commerce, and cultural exchanges that created this ancient route. This excursion promises to be both immersive and instructive, allowing us to discover the mysteries of the Khyber Pass and understand its historical significance.
