Talkhumbo Lake Trek
The Talkhumbo Lake Trak is a picturesque journey through Deosai National Park that culminates in the enchanting Talkhumbo Lake at an elevation of roughly 14,000 feet. The hike begins at Deosai Top and lasts approximately two hours, providing breathtaking vistas of snow-capped mountains and lush green fields along the route. Trekkers cross the Deosai Creek, immersing themselves in the park’s natural splendor. DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN ISLAMABAD

DAY 02: ISLAMABAD -TO NARAN

On the first day, visitors will leave Islamabad early in the morning for a picturesque trip to Naran/Kaghan. The route takes them past the lovely cities of Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Balakot, with each stretch of road giving stunning views of verdant valleys and rolling hills. Travelers can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the grandeur of the terrain on their way to Naran/Kaghan, where they will spend the night relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead.
DAY 03: NARAN TO SKARDU
On this Day
Day two begins with an early morning departure from Naran/Kaghan, as visitors embark on a lengthy but exciting journey to Skardu. The trip takes them past breathtaking natural attractions, like the well-known Lulusar Lake, which is ideal for photography and taking in the region's surreal splendor. As they rise to Babusar Pass, one of the world's highest mountain passes, passengers will take a little break to enjoy the panoramic views. After passing the pass, the route continues along the magnificent Indus River till it reaches the Karakoram Highway. Finally, they reach Skardu for a relaxing overnight stay.
DAY 04: EXPLORE DEOSAI NATIONAL PARK

On the third day, the adventure truly begins when visitors head out to explore the gorgeous Deosai National Park. They'll drive to the Deosai Plains, stopping at Sadpara Lake and the charming Sadpara Village along the way. When you arrive in Deosai, the wide expanses of the park unveil themselves, displaying its unique animals and breathtaking scenery. As night falls, guests will set up a tent at Bara Pani, immersing themselves in the peacefulness of the woods under a starry sky.
DAY 05: TREK TO TALKHUMBO LAKE

On the fourth day, visitors will embark on a thrilling journey to Talkhumbo Lake, a stunning treasure nestled at an elevation of around 14,000 feet. The tour begins at Deosai Top and continues till Sadpara Khlas. Trekkers will cross the Deosai stream while traversing this breathtaking area, immersing themselves in the tranquil setting. The journey is scheduled to last about two hours, and participants will be treated to stunning vistas of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and lush green alpine pastures. Upon arriving at Talkhumbo Lake, travelers will be charmed by the breathtaking scenery, which provides an ideal backdrop for relaxation and exploration. After a fulfilling day in this exquisite setting, they will tent by the lake for the night, allowing them to completely appreciate nature's peacefulness.
DAY 06: RETURN TO SKARDU
On this Day
Tourists will leave Talkhumbo Lake and return to Skardu. The journey back to Bara Pani will be an introspective one, allowing people to take in the scenery one last time. Upon arriving in Skardu, travelers will have some free time to explore the town, eat local food, or simply relax after their adventurous days. They will spend the night in Skardu, preparing for their return to Islamabad.
DAY 07: FLY BACK TO ISLAMABAD
On this Day
On this day the participants will take a flight from the airport in Skardu to Islamabad airport. You will have a good time to relax at the hotel in Islamabad.
DAY 08: FLY BACK TO HOME COUNTRY
