Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Islamabad

On this Day

GPS Data Altitude: 540 m Your flights will normally arrive in Islamabad in the afternoon. Our guide(s) will receive you from the airport. Soon the participants will be transferred to hotels. This day the participants can relax and recover from the journey.

Day 02: Drive to Chilas on Karakorum highway

On this Day

Embark on a breathtaking ride down the famed Karakoram Highway to Chilas, a lovely village hidden among the majestic mountains.

Day 03: Drive to Karimabad along with Hunza River

On this Day

We will drive towards the beautiful valley of Hunza in the Karakoram range. We will follow the Indus river on the Karakoram highway until we are met by the Hunza river. Hunza valley is unique in terms of the natural environment, culture, food, etc. Crossing few bridges, passing through small villages of the Brusho and Shinaki people, we will reach the capital of Hunza, Karimabad where we will spend the night.

Day 04: Drive to Hopper village and Trek to Bericho Kor (3,300 m)

On this Day

Begin the day with an early drive to Hopper Village, followed by a strenuous hike to Bericho Kor at 3,300 meters. The journey includes traversing the Hopper (Bualtar) Glacier and the technically challenging Barpu Glacier. After climbing the Hopper Glacier, we'll come across the Shishkin Camping Site, which has fresh water. The trail provides beautiful views of peaks such as Lady Finger, Ultar Peak, Kapel Peak, Malubiting Peak, and Spantik. After crossing the Barpu Glacier, the trail gets easier, heading through meadows to our campsite at Bericho Kor, where we'll spend the night with fresh water available.

Day 05: Trek to Chidin Harai (4,440 m)

On this Day

Today's walk is over 6 hours long. The entire walk is incredibly steep and challenging. The campground lies in Chidin Harai (4,440m), which is set in a lovely meadow with breathtaking views of the Karakoram mountains. Distaghil Sar, Kunyang Chhish 7,823 meters (25,666 feet), Trivor Peak 7,728 meters, and Bualtar Peak are all visible from Childin Hara on a clear day. Many people stop and camp here, particularly if the steep climb takes the entire day. Experienced trekkers may be able to go further to Rush Lake and camp there.

Day 06: Rush Lake Trek (4,694 m)

On this Day

Ascend from Chidin Harai to Rush Lake. The hike is a three-hour trip with gradual elevation changes. Once at the summit, Rush Lake is visible, surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges and some of the world's highest peaks. Camp and enjoy the breathtaking lake and the stunning mountains that surround you.

Day 07: Free day or climb Rush Peak (5,098 m)

On this Day

Today, you can spend the entire day relaxing by the beautiful lake or continue your walk to the peak of Rush Pari Peak. You can also return to the campground in Phahi Phari. If you opt to summit Rush Pari Peak, you will be rewarded with some spectacular vistas. Distaghil Sar, Kunyang Chhish 7,823 meters (25,666 ft), Trivor Peak 7,728 meters, Bualtar Peak, K2 861m, Broad Peak 8052, Gasherbrum II 8034, Snow Lake, Biafo Glacier, Hisper La, and Laila Peak are all visible from the summit of Rush Pari Peak.

Day 08: Trek to Phahi Phari (3,450 m)

On this Day

The trail from Rush Lake to Phahi Pari is downward and steep over jagged stones. The hike takes four hours till you reach the Phahi Pari Camp, which is located beside the Mair Glacier.

Day 09: Trek to Hamdar (3,300 m)

On this Day

The trip continues across the Miar glacier. The first section is on glacial moraine, which extends to the white glacier. Huge crevasses and streams make this portion of the journey extremely technical, and we will accomplish it as a group, with porters and guides to assist you in crossing the streams and crevasses. Once you've crossed the glacier, you'll follow a tiny track across the highlands. It's a pathway a few feet above, with glacier crevasses visible underneath. The route leads to Hamdar Meadows. It is a great camping location with breathtaking views of the glaciers and mountains all around.

Day 10: Trek down to Hopper valley and drive to Karimabad

Begin the day by hiking down from our campground to Hopper Valley, retracing our route through the breathtaking scenery. After arriving in Hopper Valley, we will proceed to Karimabad, a lovely town famed for its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural legacy. This descent concludes our hiking journey, taking us to the comfort and charm of Karimabad for a well-deserved rest.

Day 11: Free day in Hunza valley

On this Day

Enjoy a relaxing day in the picturesque Hunza Valley. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the local culture, visit historical places like the Baltit and Altit Forts, or simply relax and enjoy the stunning mountain views. Wander around the local markets, sample traditional Hunza food, and bask in the tranquil serenity of this scenic valley. This day is yours to relax and enjoy the beauty of Hunza at your leisure.

Day 12: Drive to Besham

On this Day

The guests will depart to Besham or Naran (depending on weather and other variables) from Hunza. If we take the road to Besham, we drive through Chilas and Dassu traveling along the Indus River on the Karakoram Highway. However, we will try to return to Islamabad via Naran Road/Babusar Pass (4,173 m). This will allow our guests to explore additional locations. Our guests will spend the night in Naran or Besham.

Day 13: Drive to Islamabad

On this Day

The journey to Islamabad will be continued either from Besham or Naran. Participants will drive through more towns, cities, and villages in Pakistan.

Day 14: Transfer to Islamabad airport for international fight

On this Day Meals included: Breakfast Our staff will transfer all our guests to the airport on their respective departure timings. The checkout time of all our partner hotels is 12pm.
